Andrew Lathwell
Andrew is a highly professional senior manager and leader of IT and Business projects with extensive knowledge and experience of the Communications, Satellite and Broadcast Industries. He has a track record of successful delivery across all three sectors and is committed to business success. He has strong organisational competence, leadership and communication skills developed with industry leaders internationally.
Herwig Cuypers
Herwig is a seasoned technical operations consultant and project manager in the telecommunications industry, specialized in satellite telecommunications services. He has over twenty years of extensive experience working with leading telecommunications, satellite and information technology companies.
He
is highly knowledgable in technology and the global market, with vast negotiating
experience in Europe, the Middle-East and
His career includes 9 years at Loral Orion, Loral Cyberstar and Loral Skynet as Executive Director Operations EMEA being responsible for all technical operations in EMEA. He successfully restructured the German Loral Cyberstar operations and consolidated them in the Netherlands as well as the UK business TV operations. Previously he worked as Telecommunications Procurement Consultant for the Meteosat Transition Program at EUMETSAT in Darmstadt - Germany.

Andy Work Andrew is an engineering and commercial consultant with over 20 years experience in the telecommunications industry, the last 15 of which specialised in satellite communications. After graduating, Andrew initially managed terrestrial radio and microwave projects prior to joining the satellite communications industry. His career includes 7 years at ESA working on transportable ground stations for the Olympus Satellite project. Since 1995 he has engineered customised VSAT solutions in Asia and the Far East for IP backbone, voice and data services for Unisource, KPN and NEWskies. Andrew is based in The Netherlands and speaks English, Dutch and French.
Simon
Hoey Qualified
with an MBA and based
in London, Simon was most recently employed as Director of Business
Development for Stratos Global. Previously he was with Invsat (an Inmarsat
subsidiary). He has an understanding of satellite communications from space segment to
end-user equipment, combining technical innovations and commercial relationships
to produce new solutions, opening new markets. A
Chartered Engineer with a Bachelor degree from Liverpool University, he joined
the satellite industry whilst still a student at Marconi, testing the payload
receiver of Eutelsat II and Olympus. Diverse roles followed from engineering
support on a Libyan seismic crew, the design team for the BSB squarial LNB (and
variants for BSkyB/Astra), and providing
solutions for niche broadcaster SIS as it rolled-out service in the Caribbean
& Middle East. Since 1996 he has worked for systems integrators and service providers, using satellite for the international oil & gas and maritime industry users. His primary role has been delivering extensions to their corporate networks using diverse technologies from a range of manufacturers.
Misko Popovic
With
a Bachelors
His early career included seven years with the Yugoslav PTT before moving on to INTELSAT in Washington where he spent ten years in engineering and video sales. More recently Misko set-up and managed the global technical sales support function for NEWskies Satellites in The Hague.
Misko is based in The Hague. He is fluent in English, Serbian and Russian.
Bob Ladell
Bob Ladell
is a Consultant and Project Manager with
a successful track record of both commercial and technical management of large
multi-disciplined projects for specialist systems across many industries. He has
successfully run his own companies for over 10 years, specialising in
technically oriented consultancy and Project Management in a broad range of
specialist disciplines.
His career includes significant time as a Senior Engineer with Thorn Consumer Electronics Advance Study Group designing consumer products - teletext, viewdata and remote controls being of particular interest leading to volume manufacture. At Logica plc he was a Head of Engineering responsible for a development team designing specialist hardware to serve many different business sectors.
He then joined British Satellite Broadcasting as Systems Integration Manager pioneering the integration and testing of advanced D-MAC conditional access and conventional broadcasting techniques.
David Chambers
With a Bachelors and Masters degrees in Engineering and an MBA from the London Business School, David Chambers is a seasoned business development specialist. He has previously held senior executive position with major corporates including Teledesic (Director of Business Development), INMARSAT (Corporate Finance Manager), Courtaulds (Business Development Manager) and 3i (Investment Associate). His specialities include:
Alex Ellery
With a Bachelors degree in Physics, a Masters degree in Astronomy, a Postgraduate Certificate in Space Studies and a Doctorate in Astronautics & Space Engineering, Dr Alex Ellery has a broad scientific and engineering background plus a strong appreciation of the commercial and legal aspects of the space business. He has previously held positions with the space division of Logica UK Ltd (where he worked on projects for EUTELSAT and EUMETSAT, as well as in various project management roles) and as programme manager for the Herschel Space Observatory and Planck Surveyor Space Telescope instrumentation groups.
