Like all good consultants, our first instinct is to do the job properly.

In a perfect world we would start each assignment with a project brief and then spend some time learning more about your company and meeting with some of your senior staff. At this stage we can report back from the perspective of an informed outsider whether we believe your project is viable and (most importantly) potentially profitable - it isn't always easy for your own staff who are involved with project day-to-day to see this. From there we would agree terms of reference on what needs to be done, by when and at what cost. As soon as you are completely satisfied we will set about achieving this within the agreed budgets and timescales 

Of course, not all projects work that way. Sometimes we are simply told "This is what needs doing - just do it" and naturally we can accommodate this as well with the same high standards of professionalism and efficiency that we apply to all our services.
