Currently we are looking to fill three vacancies.

 

1. Title: Project Manager

The company provides satellite-to-wifi internet access in the mobility sector, and is currently fulfilling a major contract for a customer in Belgium.

An experienced project manager from the satellite communications sector is required to take on day-to-day running of all installation, commissioning, maintenance and operations. Reporting to the CEO, the project manager will be supported by a small in-house team and a number of external sub-contractors.

Location: Between Brussels and Antwerp, Belgium

Languages: English essential, Flemish and French a definite advantage.

 

2. Title: VSAT Engineer

The company provides satellite-to-wifi internet access in the mobility sector, and is currently fulfilling a major contract for a customer in Belgium.

An experienced VSAT engineer is required to contribute to the acceptance testing, commissioning, installation and maintenance processes for the VSAT and related equipment. 

Location: Between Brussels and Antwerp, Belgium

Languages: English essential, Flemish and French a definite advantage.

 

3. Title: Project Design Engineer

The company provides satellite solutions for Military and Government applications in the UK, Europe and beyond.  They provide a comprehensive service from initial consultancy and design, through systems integrations, build and test to infield installations and commissioning.

The company is looking for an RF Design and Project Engineer to:

Undertake system and network design and specifying work for satellite systems covering a range of applications including SCPC, DVB and with TDM and IP based outputs.

bullet

Lead and initiate winning technical strategies for VSAT bids.

bullet

 Present written proposals, which include link budgets, level diagrams, and mechanical construction of racks, cabins, outdoor VSAT equipment with the context of the application in mind - rugged or commercial.

bullet

Present technical sign-off milestones for bids, with project time-lines.

bullet

Monitor the construction of the system build to ensure compliance with original bid proposal. Monitor and assist with testing and configuration of equipment if required for specialist areas.

bullet

Assist in the evaluation of satellite systems as a technical input to product evolution and in support of strategic development.

bullet

Liaison with suppliers on technical issues.

 Required qualifications and experience: 

bullet

A valid amount of experience with satellite and microwave systems together with interfaces into terrestrial networks.

bullet

Sound knowledge and appreciation of data networks and I/P based transmission technology for use in WAN circuits.

bullet

Hands on experience with the equipment including supervising build and installation together with commissioning and testing.

bullet

Customer facing experience and literacy

bullet

Good interpersonal and communications skills.

Person Specification:

Sound technical competence/ experience in satellite and microwave with commercial awareness.

bullet

Energetic with good problem solving capabilities.

bullet

Good interpersonal skill with an appetite to move into supervision and management grades.

bullet

 Good planning and co-ordination skills

bulletRealistic “can-do” attitude with the ability to adapt to small company constraints and participate in all aspects of the business as required to meet objective.
