Currently we are looking to fill three vacancies.

1. Title: Electronic and Computer Technician (ECT)

The company provides satellite-to-wifi internet access in the mobility sector, and is currently fulfilling a major contract for a customer in Belgium.

The candidate will join a team of 10 people reporting to the Operations & Quality Director (OQD) and to the related Project Managers.

The ECT is responsible for implementing, testing and maintaining the satellite-to-wifi system. Tasks include:

	To order, receive and test different components of the system (satellite modems, routers, Compact PCI Cards, connectors, Co-axial cables, Wi-Fi antennas, Power Supply Units, etc.
	To install the different elements of the system onboard Trains located in Belgium , and possibly in France and elsewhere
	To manage the maintenance of the elements of the system installed on Trains and update/produce the Maintenance documentation.

Knowledge of the Wi-Fi Internet technologies is required.

The ideal candidate would have a few years of work experience in the Electronic & Computer fields. He/she must be flexible in terms of working hours and mobile. The ECT will be trained internally but should quickly become autonomous and able to work on equipments with a High Technological Value (satellite related technologies, computers, railway robust equipments, etc....).

He/she will deal with worldwide suppliers and customers. Therefore his/her Technical English must be fluent. He/she will join a team 50% Dutch and 50% French speaking. English is the daily working language, but a good knowledge of both Dutch and French is an advantage.

He/she will frequently travel in Belgium , and must have a driver license. He/she will sometimes travel in Europe and possibly elsewhere, and therefore must be ready to spend 2 to 4 days per month travelling in another European country.

2. Title: VSAT Engineer

The company provides satellite-to-wifi internet access in the mobility sector, and is currently fulfilling a major contract for a customer in Belgium.

An experienced VSAT engineer is required to contribute to the acceptance testing, commissioning, installation and maintenance processes for the VSAT and related equipment.

Languages: English essential, Flemish and French a definite advantage.

Location: Between Brussels and Antwerp, Belgium

3. Title: Project Design Engineer

The company provides satellite solutions for Military and Government applications in the UK, Europe and beyond. They provide a comprehensive service from initial consultancy and design, through systems integrations, build and test to infield installations and commissioning.

The company is looking for an RF Design and Project Engineer to:

	Undertake system and network design and specifying work for satellite systems covering a range of applications including SCPC, DVB and with TDM and IP based outputs.
	Lead and initiate winning technical strategies for VSAT bids.
	Present written proposals, which include link budgets, level diagrams, and mechanical construction of racks, cabins, outdoor VSAT equipment with the context of the application in mind - rugged or commercial.
	Present technical sign-off milestones for bids, with project time-lines.
	Monitor the construction of the system build to ensure compliance with original bid proposal. Monitor and assist with testing and configuration of equipment if required for specialist areas.
	Assist in the evaluation of satellite systems as a technical input to product evolution and in support of strategic development.
	Liaison with suppliers on technical issues.

Required qualifications and experience:

	A valid amount of experience with satellite and microwave systems together with interfaces into terrestrial networks.
	Sound knowledge and appreciation of data networks and I/P based transmission technology for use in WAN circuits.
	Hands on experience with the equipment including supervising build and installation together with commissioning and testing.
	Customer facing experience and literacy
	Good interpersonal and communications skills.

Person Specification:

	Sound technical competence/ experience in satellite and microwave with commercial awareness.
	Energetic with good problem solving capabilities.
	Good interpersonal skill with an appetite to move into supervision and management grades.
	Good planning and co-ordination skills
	Realistic “can-do” attitude with the ability to adapt to small company constraints and participate in all aspects of the business as required to meet objective.
